TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF
I love creativity and wasn’t born with a silver spoon. I grew up selling fresh bitter leaves in the market in Bayelsa state, Nigeria. It was a very rough environment but I didn’t let all those things influence me. Instead, I promoted creativity because I’m social and everyone always loved me as I kept pushing.
HOW DID YOU DISCOVER YOUR CRAFT?
I got my interest by watching action movies. Growing up I was a gymnast but I just felt like doing it in a more extreme way; so I trained myself. I had a mentor @domtomato and training with him was just a blessing .
HOW DOES PARKOUR MAKE YOU FEEL?
Parkour is great to me because it motivates me. The love of parkour made me push beyond my limits and keep on improving on myself until it became easier.
DO YOU HAVE ANY FAVORITE TRICKS?
As a pro parkour athlete, I want to learn everything Lol. I love to do a move that I created myself. I’ll say the name if people ask in the comment section!
SHARE A MEMORABLE MOMENT IN YOUR CRAFT
When I first landed my first double back on a floor it felt so good and when I flipped off a building to another building it felt so crazy I was super happy.
WHAT ARE CHALLENGES IN YOUR CRAFT?
It’s not easy having access to proper media gears and safety tools. Even when I have injuries, I’ll wait till I get healed first without support. I even beg people to use their buildings and they wouldn’t let me but I don’t give up.
HOW DO YOU FEEL YOUR SOCIETY AFFECTS YOUR CREATIVITY?
The society is mostly discouraging me but I take it all as a motivation because I know what I want and what I’m creating.
IS THERE A GOOD SUPPORT ATMOSPHERE BETWEEN OTHER ATHLETES?
Yes, the community is growing.
WHAT’S THE MOST REWARDING PART OF WHAT YOU DO?
I’m alive and healthy. I’ve gained followers that helped promote the craft. Shout out to God and my lovely fans!
ONE THING YOU HOPE TO DO IN YOUR INDUSTRY?
People haven’t seen anything yet, I will be going into movies and hopefully have a proper parkour gym to train others and be the legend in Nigeria
