TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF
I am an electronic and african dance music dj and producer from Accra, Ghana. Started djing from my second year in university and now I am here. I am part of the few djs in Accra who have actively been pushing for alternative sounds in our entertainment scene hence the love for electronic/african dance music.

HOW DID YOU DISCOVER YOUR CRAFT?
Haha i think i was born with it even though the urge to see it through really came out in my last days of high school.
DO YOU HAVE A MENTOR, IF SO WHO?
Yes but He is not a DJ. Chin Okeke

DO YOU SPECIALIZE OR DIVERSIFY IN YOUR FIELD?
I will say both. I started out djing with all genres inclusive, but as time went on I began to specialize more in edm as the love grew stronger. Lately I try to have a fair balance of both but i know a time will come where I will do edm fully cus the ghanaian crowd has not fully accepted the genre even though one of its sub genres Amapiano made a lot of wave in Accra and I am proud to say I am happy to have seen that manifestation cus we have been working for a minute.
MENTION YOUR TOP THREE FAVORITE KINDA EVENTS?
Warehouse raves, Brunch/day parties, Festivals

HOW DO YOU FEEL YOUR SOCIETY AFFECTS YOUR INDUSTRY?
If you are asking if it will be more lucrative, structured and even more supportive elsewhere I will say yes and yes again. But i also believe in community building and it will take a conscious effort from all stakeholders to create a society that believes in the unconventional; something i can say is gradually being worked on.
DO YOU FEEL THERE’S A GOOD SUPPORT ATMOSPHERE BETWEEN DJS?
I think so
WHAT’S THE MOST REWARDING PART OF BEING A DJ?
Knowing that for a few hours your art will make someone happy.
WHAT’S THE MOST ANNOYING THING YOU COME ACROSS IN YOUR FIELD?
Haha hard pass
ONE THING YOU HOPE TO IMPROVE ON IN YOUR INDUSTRY?
Proper structures for djs. Workshops for djs especially the beginners, it can really look murky in the beginning.
