TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF
I’m a published author for children’s book series Sweet Dreams, as well as a blogger & Poshmark seller.

HOW DID YOU DISCOVER YOUR CRAFT?
My lifestyle as a mother of three, as a woman living in the world realizing how many cards are stacked against me because of all the stereotypes, backward traditions, and lack of support. I wanted to start my own blog for the everyday “Her” who has doubts when attempting to make the best decisions for herself. And create a place of uplifting (with tips) for moms who want to have small luxuries but don’t always have the resources to do so.
DO YOU HAVE A MENTOR, IF SO WHO?
The women who reared me as a child. My mum & grandmas have always been strong loving and independent women. I aspire to be a version of all of them combine.

WHAT INSPIRES YOUR CONTENTS?
The hope to inspire another woman who wasn’t feeling herself that day. I do ootd looks and quotes of the day for her.
TELL US ABOUT YOUR BOOK(S)?
My first children’s book “Sweet Dreams” was published in 2018 and is the first in a series of bedtime stories. First book centers around a young boy who nearly refuses to go to bed one night until his mum persuaded him with the idea that dreamland can be a fair better than staying up & fighting his sleep.

WHICH ASPECT IS DEMANDING; STARTING OR FINISHING A PROJECT?
Definitely finishing. I have great ideas all the time, & I’m good at starting something when creativity strikes, but sometimes the ending doesn’t come so easily or organically.
HOW DO YOU FEEL YOUR SOCIETY AFFECTS YOUR INDUSTRY?
It does so by not offering enough attention to details about what women like me represent.

IS THERE A GOOD SUPPORT ATMOSPHERE BETWEEN WRITERS?
It exist but could use some work.
THE MOST REWARDING PART OF WHAT YOU DO?
Seeing, feeling & holding the finished product. Finishing something that just started as a thought.
ONE THING YOU HOPE TO IMPROVE ON IN YOUR INDUSTRY?
That every girl engages with me in talking about their everyday secret aspirations so the industry would bloom.
