TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF
I’m a graphic designer, digital artist, & a talent manager.

HOW DID YOU DISCOVER YOUR CRAFT?
Growing up, I used to watch my sister draw and I was a huge fan of hers so I picked up drawing. At first I did it to impress my sister, but soon I realized I had a knack for it, so I stuck with it and graduated to other forms of art over the years.
DO YOU HAVE A MENTOR?
On Instagram that would be @seventh.voyage & my sister.

WHAT INSPIRES YOUR WORKS?
I was exposed to a lot of western content when I was younger, contents like cartoons, music , and movies. Now as an adult, I try to fuse together those things I was exposed to and my present environment & reality
DESCRIBE YOUR CONTENTS?
My content is literally out of this world. My style is photo manipulation with a mix of digital art & drawings. It’s mostly space themed, with sometimes vibrant or pastel colors. It’s more of fantasy, usually inspired by books, movies or cartoons.

WHICH ASPECT IS DEMANDING; STARTING OR FINISHING A PROJECT?
I’ll say starting because the kind of design I do is photo manipulation. Getting the right elements and also the process of putting down the exact idea that you have in your head, can be difficult.
HOW DO YOU FEEL YOUR SOCIETY AFFECTS YOUR INDUSTRY?
Just a few people really appreciate art in this country, I don’t think they know how much work goes into a project which is why a lot of them try to offer to pay you with exposure. And being underappreciated & underpaid or not even paid at all, really affects us in the industry.

DO YOU FEEL THERE’S A GOOD SUPPORT ATMOSPHERE IN THE ART INDUSTRY?
I’ll say there is lil or no support in the industry. We are very few and yet there is a divide among us. Most of the support I get are from foreign artists.
MOST REWARDING PART OF WHAT YOU DO?
It’s not when people tell me my work’s good. It’s the fact that I can create something that I love & I’m satisfied with. Everything else is a bonus.
ONE THING YOU HOPE TO IMPROVE IN YOUR INDUSTRY?
The law that protects intellectual property in Nigeria. As an artist, that scares me.
