TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF

I’m a 23 year old filmmaker from Lagos Nigeria and I’m currently based in prague.

HOW DID YOU DISCOVER YOUR CRAFT?

Well I’d say it was through dancing, I wanted to be able to edit and sometimes film my own dance videos so I decided to learn about filmmaking. And then I fell in love with it.

TELL US SOMETHING WE WOULDN’T EASILY GUESS ABOUT YOU?

I watch a lot of anime LOL

WHAT INSPIRES YOUR WORKS?

Well I’d say watching other creators, movies and listening to music.

DESCRIBE YOUR KINDA CONTENTS?

While I create different kinds of videos content. I’d say my niche would be short commercial type videos.

PERSONALLY WHICH ASPECT IS DEMANDING; STARTING OR FINISHING A PROJECT?

I’d say starting a project is more demanding. But when I start I just keep on going.

HOW DO YOU FEEL YOUR SOCIETY AFFECTS YOUR INDUSTRY?

While Czech Republic may not be the most lucrative when it comes to getting video gigs (mostly because of the language barrier) I’d say it’s okay.

DO YOU FEEL THERE’S A GOOD SUPPORT ATMOSPHERE BETWEEN VIDEOGRAPHERS?

Yeah I believe so, personally I try to support the filmmakers I know.

MOST REWARDING PART OF BEING A VIDEOGRAPHER?

For me it’s seeing the excitement and satisfaction on my client’s face when I send them the final draft of the video.

ONE THING YOU HOPE TO IMPROVE ON IN YOUR INDUSTRY?

Well for camera gear to be a bit more affordable, so more people can get into “The art of filmmaking”.
