I am an Avant- Garde, Afrocentric, High-end Fashion Stylist, Spontaneous with fashion & creativity, etc.

HOW DID YOU DISCOVER YOUR CRAFT?

I reached out to a childhood friend who’s also a photographer, I told him the idea that was coming to my mind & he agreed to shoot it with him, we shot it and the pictures went viral, people started reaching out to me and boom, that was how I went full time into fashion styling. I didn’t know that it was called fashion styling then; he was the one that told me what it was called which further led me to research about it.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT CURRENT FASHION TRENDS?

Fashion is seasonal and so are trends. It’s totally cool but it’s not all trends you jump into. Just know what works for you and stick to it whilst trying out others.

WHAT INSPIRES YOUR APPROACH TO STYLING?

I am a spontaneous stylist, so any good things inspires my approach

A MEMORABLE EVENT AS A STYLIST?

Everyone of my works is always memorable for me.

HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH DIFFICULT CLIENTS?

I keep calm throughout the interaction, I engage in active listening, I pay close attention to tone and body language and do not promise what I can’t do.

HOW DO YOU FEEL YOUR SOCIETY AFFECTS YOUR INDUSTRY?

I wouldn’t say I know or if I am sure because I do not let opinions of whatever goes on to get to me.

DO YOU FEEL THERE’S A GOOD SUPPORT ATMOSPHERE BETWEEN STYLIST?

It has been a 50/50 experience so far.

WHAT’S THE MOST REWARDING PART OF WHAT YOU DO?

When the other part is happy & satisfied.

MENTION ONE THING YOU HOPE TO IMPROVE ON IN YOUR INDUSTRY?

For Nigeria/ Lagos to have a Fashion Museum. There’s really no limit to improvement.
