TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF
I’m a graduate of Industrial chemistry. Also a lover of art and currently in Jos.

WHAT DROVE YOU INTO DISCOVERING YOUR KIND OF CRAFT?
Fashion, It’s just me. Since I was lil I’ve always been a lover of fashion so I just had to learn how to make what I imagined.
DO YOU HAVE A MENTOR, IF SO WHO?
I do, from Alexander Mcqueen, Virgil Abloh, Kanye , Jay Z (the business part), @theorangenerd to Maxi. I’ve a whole lot.

IN YOUR OWN WORDS DESCRIBE FASHION & WHAT INSPIRES YOUR WORKS?
Fashion is an expression of self, that’s just it. Inspiration to my work would be the way I feel at the moment and also being African.
BRIEFLY TELL US BRIEFLY WHAT INSPIRED YOUR LAST COLLECTION?
“Pleiades” I’d say it’s the clustering of stars in the sky at night. Always enjoy evening strolls and when I look up to the sky I’d always see these clusters of stars in the sky always. It’s so special and beautiful seeing them every night. Also came across a campaign series by @afropunk which was “strength in struggle “ which inspired mine. Whilst having struggles we still have strength. There’s this hope when you look to the sky. “Pleiades” it’s beautiful to sail within hopes of life.

PERSONALLY WHICH ASPECT IS DEMANDING; STARTING OR FINISHING A PROJECT?
Both, there’s the stress of starting to create what you have in mind then stress of having to get done with the project. But you’ll scale through.
HOW DO YOU FEEL YOUR SOCIETY AFFECTS YOUR INDUSTRY?
Our society doesn’t encourage creatives so there’s limitation and gap due to that.

DO YOU FEEL THERE’S A GOOD SUPPORT ATMOSPHERE BETWEEN DESIGNER BRANDS?
Well can’t say, but mediums should be created to make it easier esp for upcoming designers. Runways shows and exhibitions should be taken more serious. International and local investors too.
WHAT’S THE MOST REWARDING PART OF BEING A DESIGNER?
Fulfillment of creating even with all the struggles you’d pass through in this part of the world as a creative.
MENTION ONE THING YOU HOPE TO IMPROVE ON IN YOUR INDUSTRY?
Branding & Publicity…
