TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF
I’m a portrait, lifestyle, and documentary photographer based in Lagos, Nigeria, passionate about documenting experiences and moments through my lens. I specialize in portraits, lifestyle, and documenting musical moments (concerts, events).
HOW DID YOU DISCOVER YOUR CRAFT
After my secondary education, I noticed how much I loved taking images of myself with my phone and editing them. I found a Photoshop CD on the street, installed it on my laptop, and started practicing. From that moment, I knew I wanted to explore photography. I later attended a photography school to learn properly.
WHAT DEFINES YOUR STYLE AS A PHOTOGRAPHER

From the onset, I have always known I wanted to be different. When you look at my images, you’ll see what I’m talking about. I have always wanted to explore different ideas and editing styles. This desire to be unique and outstanding has always influenced my work in portrait, lifestyle, and music photography.
IN A SERIES OF IMAGES, HOW DO YOU PICK WHICH TO SHARE
Everybody knows how stressful selections can be, but in the end, I follow certain criteria like lighting, exposure, and sharpness. However, exceptions can be made if my creative instincts pick something different.

WHAT ARE YOUR CHALLENGES
One of my challenges would be having to put up with late clients.
WHAT WAS YOUR MOST CHALLENGING PROJECT
I have had a lot of challenging projects, but I can’t point out one as the most challenging at the moment.
WHAT WAS A MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE OR IMAGE YOU CAPTURED
I’ll say my project, African Craft, is my most memorable experience because of the intentionality behind the project. I knew what I wanted to create, and I was happy my audience was able to connect with the idea.

HOW DO YOU FEEL YOUR SOCIETY AFFECTS YOUR CRAFT
For a place like Lagos, location has to be one of the biggest challenges that affect photography in general. Documenting street photography or outdoor scenes has become more stressful due to several restrictions.
WHAT’S THE MOST REWARDING PART OF WHAT YOU DO
The most rewarding part for me has to be meeting, communicating with, and documenting people’s experiences and moments, making those experiences last forever.

WHAT MESSAGE DO YOU WANT TO PROMOTE WITH YOUR CRAFT
I’ll say, document your life, and you will be glad you did! Some experiences can’t be revisited.
