HOW DID YOU DISCOVER YOUR CRAFT
Fifteen years ago, I found a digital audio workstation on my brother’s laptop and began experimenting with music. My cousin later introduced me to sound design, opening up a new world of possibilities for me.

A sound designer is an architect of sound. We create auditory environments for films, TV, games, and more, ensuring that what you hear complements what you see.
HOW DO YOU MEASURE THE SUCCESS OF A SOUND DESIGN PROJECT
Success is when sound enhances the story, sets the right mood, and clarifies the narrative without overshadowing it. If the audience feels the intended emotions, I’ve succeeded.
WHAT ARE YOUR CHALLENGES AS A CREATIVE
Balancing creativity with technical demands, especially under tight deadlines, is a challenge. It also requires teamwork, highlighting the need for more skilled professionals.
WHAT WAS YOUR MOST CHALLENGING PROJECT
I had to fix a nearly completed film’s sound under tight deadlines. It was intense but pushed my problem-solving skills to the limit—truly a baptism by fire.

Working on a project about displaced communities that received awards for its message was unforgettable. Hearing how it inspired audiences was deeply moving.
