TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF
I’m a tech creative, electrical engineering student, and drone enthusiast in Lagos, Nigeria. I believe in Nigeria’s potential and dream of it becoming a major tech hub, with young Nigerians excelling in STEM fields.
HOW DID YOU DISCOVER YOUR CRAFT
I began tinkering at age 6 or 7, making toy cars from coke cans and tin. These homemade toys, though sometimes dangerous, sparked my creativity and passion for engineering.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU ABOUT RC PLANES
RC airplanes express my passion for aviation. I hope to work on Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) and dream of building combat drones for the Nigerian Air Force and other African nations.
WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU PREFER TO USE & WHY
Material choice depends on the project and budget. Sometimes I use scrap yard materials; other times, I order affordable quality materials from AliExpress.
DESCRIBE YOUR MOST CHALLENGING BUILD TO DATE
My most challenging build was an underwater drone using hydrodynamic lift instead of ballast tanks, which required balancing the center of lift and buoyancy.
A MEMORABLE MOMENT IN YOUR RC PLANE CAREER
A memorable moment was successfully flying and controlling the Solar Surveillance Drone Version 1 after months of crashing attempts.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TYPE OF PLANE TO BUILD & WHY
I love designing my own planes like the Solar Surveillance Drones and Love Light IV. The frustration of the process is worth the satisfaction of making them work.
HOW HAS YOUR SOCIETY INFLUENCED YOUR CRAFT
Living in Nigeria, I focus on solving local challenges. My work aims to inspire young people to get into STEAM, rather than creating mere toys.

WHAT’S THE MOST REWARDING PART OF WHAT YOU DO
The most rewarding part is meeting people. Posting projects online has inspired many and helped me grow a following of over 400k across social media.
WHAT’S AN ADVICE YOU WOULD GIVE TO SOMEONE JUST STARTING OUT
Start now and commit to learning daily. Ignore naysayers and protect your vision by distancing yourself from negative influences.
