I am Saran Traore from Guinea. I am twenty years of age and currently living in Ghana. I am a 5.4ft model and brown skinned. I’m a student of IPMC studying foundation networking. I love everything style and fashion.

WHAT KINDA MODELING DO YOU DO & WHAT DROVE YOU INTO DISCOVERING YOUR KIND OF CRAFT?

I am a commercial model. So I love everything fashion and I was driven into my craft through my mum. When I was little she used to style me and take pictures of me just for fun and being the only daughter, you can guess the love she had for me lol. My mum and few of my pals tell me I look good in clothes so I took the chance to be a model and shoot for fashion brands.

DO YOU HAVE A MENTOR, IF SO WHO?

My mother is my mentor, she’s my Captain Marvel!

IN YOUR OWN WORDS DESCRIBE FASHION & WHAT INSPIRES YOUR PERSONAL STYLE?

Fashion is transforming the simplest outfit into glam. Nothing inspires my personal style, I am just creative. I sometimes pencil some of the clothes I wear before sending it to the tailor.

WHAT WOULD YOU PREFER A SIMPLE OR FLAMBOYANT LOOK?

Always a simple look.

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE DESIGNER & PHOTOGRAPHER, IF SO WHO?

Favorite designer, hmmmm that will be difficult. I think I like them all. For photographer, its Kojo Brown

HOW DO YOU FEEL YOUR SOCIETY AFFECTS YOUR INDUSTRY?

It affects it in a positive way though, cos we embracing fashion and modeling quiet well. Its getting better than before.

WHAT’S THE MOST REWARDING PART OF BEING A MODEL?

Shooting for brands.

MENTION ONE THING YOU HOPE TO IMPROVE ON IN YOUR INDUSTRY?

Just me alone will be a difficult task but as collective models we can achieve a goal in improving the industry as a team since we all have different projections and things we want to improve.
