I’m Toyin Adeleke, I’m a photographer from Nigeria.

HOW DID YOU DISCOVER YOUR CRAFT?

I discovers my love for photography in school during my free time and timem when I deliberately skiped classes to shoot nature and architecture.

WHAT INSPIRES YOUR WORKS?

A fusion of contemporary portraits and fashion.

IN YOUR OWN WORDS DESCRIBE YOUR KINDA CONTENTS?

My world are inspired by people, things around me and works of my mentors.

PERSONALLY WHICH ASPECT IS DEMANDING; STARTING OR FINISHING A PROJECT?

Starting is more demanding and I think that’s the most difficult stage for me. The process of planning & bringing people together for a project can be draining.

HOW DO YOU FEEL YOUR SOCIETY AFFECTS YOUR INDUSTRY?

Cut throat credit facilities, access denials to places, facilities by authorities and sometimes the Agberos and Omonile problems when shooting outdoors.

DO YOU FEEL THERE’S A GOOD SUPPORT ATMOSPHERE BETWEEN PHOTOGRAPHERS?

Nothing really works in the society, Survival is key. You can paint a cloud of people that affects you positively and call it society.

WHAT’S THE MOST REWARDING PART OF BEING A PHOTOGRAPHER?

Most rewarding part of my craft is pleasing whoever pays for my craft and self satisfaction with my results.

ONE THING YOU HOPE TO IMPROVE ON IN YOUR INDUSTRY?

Change client’s perspective about photography and provision of Strong support for the younger creatives.
